Pumpkin Charity Grant Program

The program is conducted in two stages.

Stage One — Support for Existing Initiatives

• 5 July 5 — competition launch and opening of applications;
• July 5–31 — application period;
• July 1–7 — expert evaluation of projects;
• August 9 — results announced.

The total grant fund for this stage is NIS 65,000. Grants range from NIS 1,000 to NIS 20,000 per project.

Stage Two — Support for New Initiatives

• November 1 — applications open;
• November 25 — application deadline;
• November 25–December 1 — expert evaluation of projects;
• December 3 — results announced, on the eve of Hanukkah.

The total grant fund for this stage is NIS 50,000.

The program is open to immigrants who have arrived in Israel within the past four years.

Applications may be submitted by project founders, initiative groups and nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with the goals of the program.

• Stage One accepts applications from active projects that need support and development.
• Stage Two accepts applications from new initiatives.

Pumpkin Latte Community

Pumpkin Latte is Israel’s largest Russian-speaking community of new immigrants, founded in 2022. Today it brings together more than 120,000 participants from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries and serves as a space for mutual assistance, support and the launch of new initiatives.

Over the years, the community has helped dozens of projects find audiences, partners and support. In 2025, the Jewish National Fund recognized the community’s contribution to restoring forests after wildfires by installing a plaque of appreciation in the Sataf Forest. The community’s efforts funded the restoration of one hectare of forest.

The name “Pumpkin Latte” and its associated brand elements are protected under Israeli intellectual-property law.

Koah ha-Ole Foundation

Koah ha-Ole is a charitable foundation established in 2024 to implement systematic support programs for new immigrants in Israel.

The Foundation provides grant funding for the Pumpkin Charity program and helps develop mechanisms for the transparent and fair distribution of funds.

Priority is given to initiatives in the following areas:

• culture and the arts;
• education and public learning;
• social entrepreneurship;
• integration of new immigrants;
• local communities;
• volunteer and civic initiatives;
• projects that strengthen social ties and mutual support.
