Trustees’ Meeting in Venice

Trustees’ Meeting in Venice

A Floating Synagogue at the Venice Biennale

From 15 to 17 July, Koah Ha-Ole will host a gathering for the foundation’s trustees in Venice, timed to coincide with the official opening of the art event Nabatele on 16 July, which is part of the official programme of the Venice Biennale.

The curators and creators of the Yiddishland Pavilion project have invited our trustees and distinguished guests to attend the opening ceremony. This year, our foundation supported the participation of Israeli artists who immigrated to Israel in the project.

Artist Anna Kamyshan has created a synagogue that will be suspended in the air above the waters of Venice. The installation is an artistic statement and a reflection on the lost culture of Yiddishkeit, on rescue and belonging beyond borders.

To become a trustee of the foundation and attend the event, please contact us through the feedback form.
