Restoring the Ben-Gurion University Medical School at Soroka Hospital

The Koah ha-Ole Foundation contributed to the restoration of Soroka Hospital after it was damaged in Iranian missile attacks.

About the Project

Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva was severely damaged during an Iranian missile attack, as were the Ben-Gurion University Medical School facilities located on the hospital campus. Classrooms were destroyed, laboratories and teaching spaces were damaged, and equipment was lost. Buildings on the university campus itself were also damaged by the blast wave.

Hundreds of Ben-Gurion University students and faculty members were left without homes or faced serious damage to their housing.
