The Koah ha-Ole Foundation supported Big Brother, a nonprofit providing systematic support to lone soldiers.
About the Project
Big Brother supports around 1,500 new-immigrant lone soldiers each year with the help of approximately 500 volunteers, all of whom are former lone soldiers.
The organization uses a unique model that provides every soldier with a personal mentor, emotional support and practical assistance throughout military service and during the transition to civilian life. This increases the likelihood that they will remain in Israel.
